In 2016, the term fake news grew and broke into the mainstream – not only in the U.S., but almost worldwide. Even if bending the truth for the own political interests, also known as propaganda, isn't something new, the discovery of the internet and all of its social media channels definitely opened up new possibilities of spreading lies and mistruths faster and wider. The boundaries between real information and entertainment become more and more fluid. Daily Noise addresses not only the psychological reasons why fake news are spread and why we believe them, but also encourages the reader to question his own news consumption as a part of this problem. In addition to the publication, a short film composed of entertainment and news material on the internet was created.
